After removal a basal cell cancer of her upper lip with Mohs surgery, this 41 year old woman had a wound of her right lip that included both the skin and mucus lining (vermilion). The lip was repaired by advancing the remaining lip skin to the right of the wound and by also advancing a portion of her lip mucus lining forward. She is shown 3 months post-operative with an intact lip skin and mucus lining (vermilion) border.
