This 66 year old woman had a basal cell cancer removed by Mohs surgery resulting in wound of her right medial cheek adjacent to her nose. Dr. Amit Bhrany repaired her wound by advancing an island of tissue along her natural crease (smile line) between her lip and cheek (V-Y advancement flap) as shown in the preoperative photo. She is shown 3 months post-operative.
