This 55 year old woman had a basal cell cancer of her upper lip that resulted in a full-thickness wound of her left lateral upper lip. The lip was repaired in multiple stages by rotating tissue into the wound from her cheek and also muscle and mucus lining (Abbe flap) from her lower lip. She is shown 1 year post-operative with an intact upper lip and a restored lip skin and red mucus lining (vermilion) border.
