This 51 year old woman had a defect of her nasal ala after removal of a basal cell cancer by Mohs surgery. Dr. Amit Bhrany reconstructed her nose with a cartilage graft placed along her nostril (alar) rim and a local flap recruited from the remainder of her nasal alar skin incised along the natural crease between the nose and cheek. She is shown 5 months post-operative.
