This 47 year old woman had a basal cell cancer removed by Mohs surgery that resulted in a wound of her right lateral upper lip. Her lip was repaired by advancing skin from the edge of the defect after incising the border between the lip skin and red mucus lining (vermilion). She is shown 6 months post-operative.
